Mario Balotelli Completes AC Milan Switch
Liverpool’s out of favour striker Mario Balotelli, who could never really cement his place in the Liverpool starting eleven, has finally secured a move back to Italy with his former club AC Milan according to various media outlets including Sky Sports.
Although AC Milan haven’t made a statement regarding the loan deal, Balotelli has already passed on his farewells to Liverpool fans through a social media message. Balotelli has had a medical at Milan and it is expected that the deal would be announced at any time in the coming days, since the clubs have already agreed on how they are going to share his wages.
However, in a bizarre turn of events, it has been mentioned by local Italian press that AC Milan want to insert a ‘good behaviour clause’ into his contract in order to keep the volatile striker under a tight leash and Balotelli is understood to have agreed with the clause. Balotelli had been a prolific scorer for AC Milan last time when he netted 26 goals in a total of 46 games.
