Premier League giants Manchester City are eyeing a move for West Ham United’s Aaron Cresswell, according to reports.

Manchester City have made a huge impact in the transfer market this summer by securing the services of the likes of Raheem Sterling, Fabian Delph and Patrick Roberts.

It is clear that City have adopted an approach of making a move for homegrown talents in order to fulfill their quota for the upcoming campaign and the Premier League giants are still believed to be in the market to bring in a couple of domestic based players before the end of the summer transfer window.

Now in surprise reports, it has been claimed that the Citizens are planning to make a move for West Ham United star Aaron Cresswell.

Cresswell caught the eye of many top clubs last season with his performances for West Ham United but the defender made it clear that he wanted to stay put at the Boleyn Ground by signing a new 5-year deal at the club recently.

Nonetheless, City have not been deterred by the fact that Cresswell has signed a new deal at West Ham and the 2013/14 Premier League champions are said to be looking to place a bid in the region of around £12million in order to tempt the Hammers into parting with their star left back.
