Bury News

Bury have done well in League One this season but their form over the last four games has been simply atrocious and they suffered a humiliating 6-0 defeat at the hands of Coventry City last weekend.

The manner of the defeat would most certainly have left manager David Flitcroft fuming and he will be demanding a proper response from his team when they play hosts to Sheffield United at Gigg Lane on Tuesday night.

Injury Doubts: Kelvin Ethuhu, Rob Lainton

Bury Probable Lineup: Lawlor, Pugh, Cameron, P.Clarke, Riley, Soares, Lowe, Mayor Tutte, O’Sullivan, R.Clarke

Sheffield United News

Sheffield United managed to end their terrible run of form with a hard fought 1-0 victory over Doncaster Rovers last weekend and the triumph has suddenly lifted the Blades up to 7th place in the League One Table.

However, things are so tightly packed in the standings at the moment that a defeat could once again see Sheffield United drop down to mid-table mediocrity and manager Nigel Adkins will be more aware than most that the margin for error for his side is very little ahead of the game against Bury.

Injury Doubts: Stefan Scougall

Sheffield United Probable Lineup: Long; McEveley, Edgar, Collins, Brayford, Campbell-Ryce, Hammond, Calvert-Lewin, Reed, Adams, Baxter

Bury claimed a 3-1 victory over Sheffield United in the corresponding fixture at Bramall Lane earlier on in the season but barring that result, the Blades have enjoyed total domination over their opponents.

Heading into Tuesday night’s clash, Bury are not in the best of runs at the moment and with Sheffield United having gained a lot of confidence from their victory over Doncaster, it would not be a surprise if the away side are able to claim another three points once again.

Bury 1 – 2 Sheffield United
